Casino Party Event Information

The party takes place Saturday, January 27, 2023 from 5 pm until 10 pm.

• Everyone can play the games & win tickets, however, ONLY Preferred employees can win a prize.
• When you get a raffle ticket, you keep one half and put the other half in the raffle box of your choice. Don’t forget to write your name on the half that you drop into the raffle box!
• To help ensure as many people win as possible, only one prize per Preferred employee is allowed. The exception is the tenure based prizes.
• If you win a large prize (grill, foosball table, patio furniture, etc.), it will be at the shop for pick up on Monday. We will arrange for someone to bring large prizes up to Greenville the next week. 

The Camden Room at the Charleston Visitor’s Center located at 375 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403

There is convenient parking nearby at the Visitor’s Center Parking Garage (regular rates apply). Ubers can also drop you off without issue so please plan accordingly for getting home safely.

Think Old Hollywood red carpet! Love to dress up? Bring on the glitter! Prefer to be comfortable? We see you—just show up ready to have fun! The invitation says “Black tie optional” and we mean the “optional” part. 

This is a night to celebrate you! We’ll have casino games, prizes, live music, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, specialty games, dancing, photo fun, and more!

Yes! There will be heavy bites served. We have several food options including vegetarian and pescatarian choices. Vegan and gluten free options are limited.

Late night bites will also be served at the end of the night. 

No need to worry! At the PHS Casino Party, you always win!

When you arrive at the party, you’ll receive PHS Dollars. You’ll take these to the table of your choice and trade them in for chips. These chips will work at any casino table throughout the evening.

The card dealers at each table will help you learn how to play the table game if you’re unsure. They will even guide you as you play if you need help. When the casino tables close, you’ll cash in your chips with the dealer who will give you raffle tickets which you’ll use to win prizes. YOU MUST WRITE YOUR NAME ON YOUR TICKET TO WIN. ONLY PHS EMPLOYEES CAN WIN PRIZES.

You heard right! Throughout the night you’ll win tickets by participating in the activities throughout the party. These tickets can then be placed into the raffle boxes of your choice to win everything from tools to air pods to televisions.

Playing the casino games will potentially earn you the most tickets. When the tables close, your dealer will cash out your chips for tickets. You’ll then take these over and drop them in the boxes of the prizes you’d like to try and win.

Raffle prize winners will be announced at 8:15 pm and you must be present to win. So that we have as many people win a prize as possible, remember that each employee can only win one prize. To help this process move along a little faster than in previous years, the Casino Party Committee will draw winners simultaneously during the PHS Awards ceremony. Starting at 8:15 pm, keep your ears open for your name—if you hear it, it means you’ve won a prize!

Your hotel is provided by PHS on Saturday night! If you’d like to book additional nights at this special rate, you will need to call the hotel @ 843-284-5252, for this rate. Click SpringHill Suites Charleston Mount Pleasant to view the hotel. You will only need to book for the additional night/s. No need to book the Saturday night as Meghan will handle that part for you.
