Our air conditioner broke about 3 weeks ago. We were to busy to get it fixed right away. We put a shout out on Angie's list and they were the first ones that called. We're new Preferred Home Services Customers, but we'll be regulars for a long time. We had an 18 year-old HVAC unit in a downtown condo we'd recently purchased. Of course it decides to fail on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. PHS had a tech out to assess within hours, and we had a new crew arrive 1st thing Monday AM to replace the entire unit (Inside blower + outside condenser).
