Kevin replaced a two bulb flood light and repaired a second light that had the internal bulb holder loose inside the globe. He made it look easy and was a pleasure to watch, a true professional and the best I have seen. He even parked his vehicle on the road rather than risk blocking me out of my driveway.

Christopher was professional, thorough and efficient. His discussion about membership was so clear, I decided to get onboard as a member.

Technician came out and assessed the problems with our plumbing pipes under in the bathrooms and under the house. I recently decided to installl a new HVAC system and meet with Logan to get an estimate on the cost.
He was right on time with a big smile and warm handshake.
We sat down and discussed what my needs were and how he could make things work for ME! He did a thorough walk through, explained his findings and was very patient answering my questions.
He then discussed with me his recomendations which would fit my needs.I never felt I was being pressured or rushed to make my decision.
I am happy to have found this company and a dedicated employee like Logan to help me get my new HVAC!

Follow up :
Had my new HVAC installed last week and Vince and Alex did a great job! They had some tight spots to work installing but they knew what they were doing and got everything done in one day.
They answered questions and educated me on how the system worked. They registered my system with the manufacturer for me which was so helpful.
Few days later I had a few questions on the outside unit. They came back a few hours later and made sure all was running properly.
Great company with excellent teamwork.

Called PHS about a heating issue. They were able to send someone out within an hour. Ryan came and checked the thermostat and furnace and explained and answered any questions I had. He was able to check and diagnose the problem. He fixed the problem and went over the details. He was very thorough and did excellent work. I would definitely have him come again if I had another issue or problem.

....This was my first choice for a new air-conditioning and heating unit. Organization and essence of time is a great priority to this company. I cannot say enough about the four gentlemen that came out to take out the old a/c heating unit and install the new one. Ray, Xavion, Vince, and Alex were exceptionally knowledgeable and polite during the whole process. Ray definitely led his team well and explained all present and future statistics that I needed to know. Very thankful for their professionalism and work.

10/2006: Felix came to investigate a potential leak found by the people installing new flooring for us. He exhausted all options and ultimately determined that it was an old leak but pointed out a few places that could be issues in the near future amd promptly was able to fix them. We also briefly discussed the option of having a new shower installed to be able to get behind the wall and really make sure there was no leak or more rotted floor/wall. He coordinated with dispatch and was able to have the bathroom sales rep, Travis, come out same day!! Travis was very knowledgeable, patient and we never felt like he was trying to bully us into more expensive finishes or items. Would highly recommend both!!

Team came out and ran some gas lines for us. Super professional crew and the turn around time was amazing. Quoted yesterday, lines are in today. I have used them for a few projects now and have yet to be disappointed. They are not the cheapest but they do great work and I will continue to use their services.

Adam Kelly my preferred home services technician came in bright and breezy was polite and pleasant to be around and worked professionally through all manner of checks and test on our HVAC system working between the inside unit and outside unit taking care to wear protective boots so as to not bring in contaminates to maintain a clean and healthy home, all the way through explaining what and why he was testing and checking as he went through his system. He was a delight to know and chat with and professional to a fault. Very respectful and through. A real asset to the company and the public to which he serves very nicely.

Very pleasant & knowledgeable plumber/technician. We had problems with guest room toilet earlier and turned water off. We were afraid to turn it back on! The plumber turned water back on and showed us several things to do in emergency. We are going to look into a new toilet in the coming months, but our old one (at least 40 years old!) is now working! I highly recommend the Preferred Technician & we will request him for any future work.

Ola was amazingly thorough. He explained everything that needed done very clearly so I could make an informed decision. He then did the repairs expertly. He was very professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ola and preferred home services.

A day that starts with a hot water heater flooding your home isn’t set up to be the best. Matthew is perfect for this job as he’s incredibly skilled at what he does and is able to make a really tough day feel a lot lighter. As a single, female homeowner I’m very wary when I have to outsource jobs around the house. It’s can sometimes be an extra obstacle to getting a problem solved when I have to walk people back from misleading statements or quotes. Matthew was honest and diligent the entire process and I’m very grateful to Preferred Home Services for employee honest people like him!

Dennis Holt found solutions to our problems that others did not. A gas leak in our fireplace and water heater not working properly were resolved by Dennis discovering our gas had been turned off and the valve to the fireplace was not turned off completely. He did a total system check as a “peace of mind” check.

Preferred is my go to for HVAC and plumbing needs.

The tech Xavi was on time and polite. Did a very thorough inspection of my HVAC system. Let me know that the flame sensor is dirty and needs to be cleaned/replaced. Highly recommend for a thorough inspection of your HVAC unit.

Thomas was fantastic. He was very attentive to the fact that we were a bit stressed and anxious over the water leakage. He went out of his way to explain everything he was doing it as he did it, and gave us a lot of peace of mind. On top of that he did it all with a smile, positive attitude, and even great banter as he worked. Between the quick communication from the sales team, fast response, very reasonable price, and Thomas's personality and expertise I have no doubt what company we'll be calling whenever we have an issue.

I had a leak and drain blockage in my kitchen . I was not expecting to be able to have it fixed until after the weekend, but thanks to the excellent service dispatcher Amanda and skilled technician Nick, my garbage disposal had been replaced, drain unblocked and everything back in place by 3 pm on Friday afternoon . Excellent service from start to finish .

I couldn’t get over how detailed these guys were. In less than 45 minutes everything was taken out duct work unit etc. granted it took rest of day to install new duct work trunk line and unit. Including start up and testing they were all very professional Worked like a machine. From beginning to end. Grayson, Ben And Alex did awesome job. I don’t want to forget the 5 guys that did the ductwork either

My 92 year old father is preparing to sell his house and we realized his hot water heater wasn’t working. I called Preferred Home Services and within an hour Maddie, the technician, showed up. She was nice, polite, and as I explained what was going on she listened. She explained about their diagnostic charges very well and then got to work. Not long after that, she knew what the problem was and explained what needed to be done, outlining the work and the charges. We told her to go ahead and she got it done in a short amount of time. Maddie was awesome through the whole evolution.

This was an outstanding experience with Preferred Home Services and they helped us out a lot. I would definitely call them again and recommend you do the same.

Darian Spent 10 hours doing this Job that tells me he takes Pride in his work.... After Darian Removed The Old Tankless He Replace The On & Off Switch With An Outlet & Installed A Hot & Cold Water Faucet. Which I Thought Was Fantastic.. Im Sure My Home Is The Only One In The Neighborhood With An Hot Water Faucet Out side The Home.. I would Definitely Recommend Preferred Home Services. Thank you Darian For The Great Job.

This was a 24 hour ordeal and my first tech Joe was here till 10:30pm working with a head light on. Unfortunately one large oak and roots needed more work and Jeremy came the next day and didn’t skip a beat. Got my water up and running. Price was fair and up front. Adam was professional, explained everything so I can understand, he was friendly and respectfully. Not a pushy sales person just real facts. I called this morning to see if we could get on the service list as we had electrical storm surge energy hit our home. They gave me an appointment today and were promptly here after lunch with a detailed text as to who was coming. Chris G is the penultimate professional and his assistant was too. They listened to what was going on in my house and we decided on a plan. They replaced outlets and switches that were affected, an outside light fixture, checked other outlets and switches and kept their work areas clean. They noticed the electronics that had been damaged and offered to dispose of them properly. We discussed upgrades to be done later and they helped this vertically challenged client reach things to help with getting lights back in working order. Overall, I was very pleased with their workmanship, arrived when promised, and extra professional curtesies they provided. I would highly recommend Preferred Home Services for your homes upkeep and repairs.

Second time we called for assistance at our home.
Again I called to get assistance with some issues at our home. Dispatch sent a technician out within 2 hours of the call. We went over what was absolutely necessary and then talked options.
Our home is 45 years old and some things are just necessary for proper maintenance. We chose to replace the electrical panel in house and in garage, update and add several receptacles, dedicated outlets for water pump, freezer and workshop receptacles. Added GFI’s where necessary and took one off that wasn’t necessary.
John, Kevin and Van arrived when promised this morning and went to work immediately. Of course, since we were replacing the electrical panel and all new breakers, there is no power in the house period. John kept everyone on task as he worked in certain areas. Kevin was tasked with the inside electrical panel which was untangling all the vines (wires) that the original contractor put in 45 years ago. Not a small task! It is now the neatest panel in all of Charleston and it is all correctly labeled! Van, who is working toward getting in his “apprentice” hours in for certification was attentive to John, followed directions well and took on challenges John and Kevin gave him. They all were very friendly and informative but most of all very tidy.
We are now on their maintenance plan and could not be happier with their service. Below are before and after photos of a few of the things done.

Matt and team (Mark & Porter) completed the required work very professionally and curiously. I appreciated the attention to detail and great work ethic. They were a pleasure to work with and represented their company well! Thanks so much!!

To say We are Pleased with Braden and Garrett is an understatement!!! Arrived on time and did Exceptional PROFESSIONAL work!!! They Removed Old & Installed a New Navien 210A Tankless Water Heater with Halo Ion... They did a Major Rebuild of Master Commode... They did a Re-stall of a New Moen Shower Cartridge and did I fail to mention.... Repair guys that were so Respectful of our home as they went in & out for hours!!!!

Fixed a leak underneath the house the same day I called them.

Garrett and Chris were excellent with replacement of septic pump. They made sure to help keep me feeling confident the work was done correctly and in a timely manner and professionally. Plus they were very personable and helped talk through some unrelated life issues and we learned a lot in the process. Ended up actually enjoying the work instead of loathing every minute of the process. A+ for Chris and Garrett!!. The two workers the day before were nice too I believe it was Trey and Dee. The taller guy was more business oriented and I caught an attitude at one point due to stress of the situation and money involved to fix the issue. But he handled it well and they promptly got their work accomplished and on their way! Would have hoped for slightly more money savings from being a monthly member but overall happy with everything!!! Would recommend to others

Scott Hawkins is the best technician and the only reason for the 5 stars and will remain a customer as long as he is at the company and is the only hvac technician I want to service my home. He really takes his time to show you things and educate you on what is being done or any issues. I as a customer appreciate someone who takes their time verses rushing through and just getting the job done and more technicians should be like him. You can tell he truly cares about his customers even if that means putting him behind for the day and that is why I will remain loyal to him!

The service was fast and friendly. The technician also explained everything in detail. I would definitely recommend Preferred Services.

HVAC maintenance …. we are part of their regularly scheduled maintenance inspection. They come out 2 times a year to provide preventative maintenance for our HVAC system. We pay $17/month for this service. It’s well worth it.

In today’s world every company says they treat their customers like family. When it comes to needing that little extra to go above an beyond is a lot of the time left out from most companies. This company on the other hand truly treats you like family and they prove it through action and communication! As for me and my family we will only use them! I have been in the customer service industry along time and they have my business! I was treated kindly, they put in part for me that was very expensive and honored their word on helping us out! Chan was very personable and professional with the fall checkup of HVAC. Scheduling was easy and Chan was punctual. Preferred Home Services always does a great job.

Eric D. did a great job replacing an undermount sink and disposal. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He was also prompt on the 3 visits. Communication with the office was great.

He left, then came back citing he wanted to check my pipes and make sure I didn't have any leaks, and crawled under my house to do it; my favorite. Bryce I can't thank you enough!! Preferred Home Services did a great job with our toilet leak and repair!! The technician showed up promptly and was extremely efficient and thorough in diagnosing the issue. He provided several options and then proceeded to make the necessary repairs. Since there was some water damage as well, he recommended a reputable remediation company and arranged to have them call us. Their technician showed up that same afternoon and was able to start the drying out process before the end of the afternoon. We will definitely be using Preferred Home Services the next time an issue arises.

Had my HVAC and Plumbing inspections today and was very pleased at how through both Griffin and Tony were. Griffin checked my HVAC system out throughly I thought he had surley found something major wrong but he didn't, he was just being very through. He gave me some good advice on using the system going forward.
Tony was just as through when checking my Plumbing. He checked everything in my house that had to do with water. He did have to fix one issue I was having but had it working again in no time.
They were both very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all my questions and was ready to explain everything to me.
I will be sure to ask for Griffin and Tony in the future.

Chris C. has been an outstanding! He really make my day by fixing the issue of our HVAC’s motor. He was also patiently inspected my system upstairs in my attic which is freaking hot out there!

I was very impressed with Ryan. He is very friendly, professional and explained what happened to my HVAC system. He also showed me pictures and video of the problem. I called yesterday when AC wasn't cooling and luckily they were able to get Ryan out here today. I have no issues with Preferred Home Service and they are the company that we purchased the HVAC system from, this problem was a soldiering issue from the Goodman HVAC manufacture. We purchased this HVAC unit less than 2 years ago and the soldiered joint failed that fast.
