Preferred and their team are incredible. Super knowledgeable and with you every step of the way. They diagnosed my issue and were willing to return day after day to make sure my system ran well. With how bad my old system was, with all the damage, they were willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything got remedied. Even checking in on me monthly to help.

I have used Preferred Home Services for Plumbing, Heating and Air. They have always been to my house in a timely manner and their work is excellent.
Today, Jonathan and Seth arrived to repair a leak under the double master bath sinks. They Before entering my house they put on shoe covers, and after assessing the problem they provided a summary of the work to be done and the cost. Their trucks are always fully stocked, the work was completed in a timely fashion, and they cleaned up behind themselves. I highly recommend Preferred Home Services. Their staff is always friendly and courteous.

Used Preferred again for some desperately needed updates to 60+ year old plumbing parts. AWESOME experience with Matt (the technician). The five stars are for his patience, his thorough guidance on what was needed and why, his willingness to negotiate on pricing, and his incredible work ethic over the three days it took to complete everything that was needed.

That being said, you should be aware that Preferred now uses an AI to handle their incoming calls from all customers, which is absurd. (It even comes with little fake office noises to make it sound real and doesn't ID itself unless you ask!) Apparently even someone who is an existing customer and has already spent $20K-ish on home repairs and upgrades does not warrant five minutes of interaction with an attentive and empathetic human being to explain what work is needed and why. This has never happened to me before with a local business and I almost hung up.

Electrician was professional and had a deep understanding of proper diagnosis. After diagnosis, he provided simple clear answers for the issues and how to resolve them. Technician provided in depth explanations regarding how system functions, possible causes, and proper repair procedures, though I above average understanding of electrical principles. Would recommend Preferred Home Services for simple and complex issues based on technician background.

I’m so glad they were recommended to us; from the time Logan came til the install was completed by Lucas, Anthony and Dakota , full satisfaction. They worked very in our small attic and were the politest people we meet. This is different the company you will not regret for your home A/C system.

These folks responded on short notice and in a timely and professional manner. The technician, LB, knew what he was doing, fixed my immediate problem and pointed out two others but not in an overly “salesy” way. Very pleased with this whole experience from sales to dispatch to repair.

We trusted Preferred Home Services with several plumbing projects at one of our locations. From the scheduling team on the phone to Mike’s expertise with recommending the right solutions and carrying out meticulously detailed work (with a smile), we had a fantastic experience.

Chris was my technician. He was great. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the task at hand and open to answering questions but he is very personable while also maintaining a comfortable professionalism. This very important when working with female homeowners who have to get stuff done and do not want to have to worry about letting a stranger into her home. Crazy as it sounds, to be so paranoid, but it’s a real concern and it’s nice not having to think about it with Chris.

Mike did a very thorough evaluation of my entire system. Discussed in detail each recommendation to fix my issues. Designed new system to replace inadequate fixtures.
Technician, Scott, did an excellent job. Drop clothes across the inside where needed, straight forward installation and complete clean up when done.

EXCELLENT experience as always! Noah was the technician who did my initial hot water heater install a year ago and I was thoroughly impressed. He explained the importance of annual maintenance which was the reason for my most recent visit. I specifically asked that Noah return which he did and he was once again prompt (right on time and smiling), professional, knowledgeable, respectful, thorough (explaining everything) and did an outstanding job AGAIN! He checked in my crawl space and all around the outside looking around for the clean-out.

Technician worked diligently to resolve our issues and concerns - explained everything he would need to do to resolve our problems and be able to warranty the parts - worked until well after what would be quitting time to make sure we were no longer experiencing the issue that had us schedule service. The service man sent to do my ceiling fan installation was terrific !! I don’t have enough kind words for him. The price however was ridiculous and not his fault. 408 for a ceiling fan come on preferred home services that’s highway robbery .

What an awesome experience today with Preferred Home Services. I was looking for a whole home service plan for my AC, plumbing and electrical. I had called other service companies and had wonderful calls and good sales pitches. Preferred gave me an excellent customer service call and offered there plan specifically to my needs. They recommend a military plan without asking or as a sales pitch they seem to genuinely care for vets in there community. Hats off to there excellent service to there customers!

I hade services today for a disposal making funny noises. First, the intake office staff were so friendly, understanding and eager to accommodate me for an appointment very soon. The technician was Dee . He has to be one of the most friendly and kind persons I have met in a long time He promptly described the services, cost, choices and specials. He then successfully cleared the obstruction which was two very tiny silver cross charms that had somehow found their way to the drain I seriously told Dee that I always say Jesus is with us all the time and we both had a chuckle. Our AC system was not working quite as efficiently as it should be, one half of the house with the thermostat was ice cold vs other parts farther from the thermostat. We called Preferred Home Service based on a friend's recommendation and Corey Breaux arrived to give us an estimate and suggestions, a few days later he and his team arrived to fully re-install our AC unit, moving it from outside to our attic, improving several vents in the house and where the condensation drips out. The unit works fantastically with no issues and Corey and his team were professional, polite and worked faster than expected.

Bryson came out cleaned out line and repaired long term damage. Very friendly and professional.

Bryson came to assist with our kitchen faucet leak. He was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained to us what had happened that caused the leak. He worked up a quote for us and made sure we understood. He never seemed annoyed or in a hurry to finish the job even though it was getting late. Although I'm not sure whether we paid a reasonable price, I can speak to his customer service being exceptional and that alone can make the difference in feeling good about the price you pay.

A tree fell and crushed my outside unit. It was only 6 months old. I called Preferred and they came out by midafternoon. LD worked very hard to at least get me ac until a new unit could be installed. I felt like I was treated like family. He went out of his way to help me even calling in sales for a new unit. Earl showed up around an hour later and was fortunate to get a new unit the next morning. Dustin Cooper was here early and had it up and running in just a few hours with a brand-new system. They entire disaster was eased by Preferred staff who worked to get me a resolution. Amazing.

Preferred has always performed above and beyond. They do the job right the first time. The price is explained up front and there are no surprise additions. I will stay with Preferred going forward.

Lightning strikes last week left me with 3/4 breakers and surge protector needing replacement. Tony M (2nd visit to me) and Van were on time, checked the breaker panel, and took care of the issues quickly. Then checked each outlet inside and out to be sure there were no surprises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After a great experience with Preferred Home Services installation of a tankless water heater and whole house water filter system, we called them to clean and service our air-conditioning units. The technician that came out, Ben was very pleasant, professional, and described everything that he did and what needed to be done. This is a professional and well run company.

Both Dennis and Gabe were professional and communicated well, letting us know what they needed to do and explaining how they were going to do it. I also want to give a huge shout out to Tara who facilitated our purchase and, although it took several months to complete the sale due to issues with the sale of our house, she never pressured us to get the deal done. Will was able to quickly diagnose the voltage short in the system after a lightning strike disabled the AC system. Repairs were expeditiously after that. Excellent workmanship and extremely professional. A seamless and carefree experience.

I called Preferred Home Services Wednesday evening. Our Technician Jonathan showed up Thursday morning. Great response time. Jonathan was outstanding, explaining everything and the next steps. He made sure he didn't make a mess when sawing through our wall board. By laying down his drop cloths all dust an debris was captured. He left the area spotless. Very happy with the service and will reach out to them again if I need to. Thanks Jonathan!

Rapid response to a sudden water heater failure. Immediate return of initial phone call; tech (Johnathan) arrived a short time later. Ordered a new heater, which was delivered and hooked up by John in a timely manner.
Time from initial call to finished installation of the new water heater was approximately 6-hours..!!!

We called Preferred Home Service the morning of 8/17 and explained our situation of lighting strikes in the area damaging our water heater Sunday evening, which they responded in a timely manner setting up a service order. That same day, they called to let us know that the technician was on his way. Alec arrived shortly afterwards and he did a great job. He was friendly, professional, provided the information necessary for us to make a decision to replace our water heater. We did so and had hot water that afternoon. We appreciate Preferred Home Services and Alec for taking care of us. I would recommend this company should you need service as we had a great experience.
