He and his partner were so efficient and repaired all of the electrical plugs in the house. I have one suggestion perhaps you could purchase those.Hand held portable vacuum. Joe N. Is the best plumber I have ever had! He was very personable and professional! He started by going over the agenda for the visit to ensure that all expectations were managed and there would be no surprises during our appointment. He flushed my tankless water heater making some plumbing related suggestions to help me save money by mitigating future repairs by changing some of the things we do in our home. He ensured that the work area was cleaned up after work was complete and even provided me plumbing related options to make my home better, save money, and improve my overall quality of life making sure I was aware of available financing for any needed repairs or enhancements that I may be interested in if needed. He never came across like he was selling me something. He just wanted to be there for what we needed! He even let me know that Preferred is a whole home service company offering hvac and electrical servicing as well! I will only have Joe N. take care of our families plumbing needs and Preferred for any other home services from now on!

Chris Crawford was an excellent technician

I called preferred home services due to our digital HVAC board was dead. My husband found it was the battery that caused the board to go out. We informed our technician, Danny, of this when he arrived. He reset the board and proceeded to check the in and outside of our house. Danny took pictures of everything and sat down with us to explain what he found. Danny was professional, friendly, theral, informative and just a nice guy. We were not happy about the result of this inspection due to finances. Danny gave us a written report of 3 ways to choose from so we have an idea of the cost. We appreciated Danny coming the same day I called.

They came by for the yearly HVAC maintenance and the technician Griffin did an excellent job. He found a couple small issues along with some things that could be a problem in the future and helped me prioritize the maintenance. I’m definitely happy to know things are in working order before the summer heat really kicks in.

Ryan was very polite and informative, he came in explained what he was going to try first and after a few mins of trying he was able remove the clog. As advertised it only cost me the $69, I will absolutely refer them to someone in need!

Update 2: Chase got me taken care of and restored my faith in the company. Update: Tech did arrive. Apparently someone was calling the wrong number. Unhappy with being told it was canceled, but very happy with getting service today. Will update after service is completed. Booked my appointment yesterday using the website. Then had my appointment canceled because "I didn't confirm the appointment". No missed calls/texts/emails. I called them and was told dispatch woud call me. That also never happened. Going with another company.

Needed them to be here quickly to repair outside faucet leak so outside foundation repair people could finish their work. From phone call to repair finish….one and a half hours!

Our AC compressor died and of course it was a weekend with high 80 -90 degree temperatures. The team was able to install a new one on the Saturday. Much appreciated. Thomas, explained the financing, LB diagnosed the problem, and Quintin and Jason Cannady Installed the new compressor. Each person was professional, polite and efficient. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and new items explained. I would recommend this company to others.

Amazing service! Our tech Will Smith, did an amazing job, he was kind, quick and very helpful with our questions on swapping out our toilets in the home. We wanted to upgrade and he found us a better option for cheaper and installed three new toilets in our home in less than 2 hours. Ended up having issues with our hot water, they came out the same day that we called to try and diagnose. Thought we’d fix the problem within that day sadly we still weren’t getting all hot water and needed a new Water heater, Garrett and Matt came out the next day did fantastic work and got hot water going again. Our home, constructed in 2022 had undersized ductwork that made an upstairs spare bedroom intolerable. A previous Preferred technician had advised us of this condition during a previous visit last summer. I finally got around to calling Preferred Home Services on Monday and was able to get a Tuesday service appointment. Chris arrived as scheduled, inspected and re-confirmed the issue, and provided options to resolve our problem. We gave the go-ahead, and Chris was able to remove and replace with larger ductwork same day. Chris impressed me with his experience, clarity in explaining options, and the speed and quality of his work product. I am satisfied that the cost of the work was reasonable. The room is now very comfortable and all’s well.

Will Smith was my second technician of the day. The other techs just came in, look at everything and said they couldn't fix my toilet or sink. I called Preferred and a hour and a half later Will was at my house. In less than thirty minutes my toilet and sink was unclogged, and the waterin the kitchen was running fine. Will is a wobderful technician. I'm planning to stick with preferred.

Caleb was on time and checked everything on our HVAC . He was great at explaining how everything was working. I never had a system breakdown because PREFERRED HOME SERVICES is the best at helping you take care of your home. They never try too sell you anything, just let you know how your system is working and make recommendations. I use them for my HVAC , would not hesitate to call them for any other repairs I might need. They take care of everything! All the technicians are great.

Two days before the snowfall, our downstairs heater stopped working. It had frozen over. Stephen quickly responded and found the problem. It was a part that needed to be shipped, however, as soon as it came in, he was on the way to put it in and have us back up and running. Steven is a tremendous technician and knows the ins and outs of air-conditioning/heat pumps. I could not have asked for a better technician or a better company. These guys rock!

The customer service rep who called to schedule was polite and positive, but the star of the show was our plumber, William. He executed very logical troubleshoot, drove an hour away to get parts, came back and the obvious solve didn’t work, but the problem then didn’t make sense. He reviewed our other possible options including replacing the faucet in question, but kept plugging away at it on professional instinct. He got in his car to leave, came back to the front with a Eureka moment. He found the culprit of our problem, a restrictor piece the size of a pea that had broken (a low probability problem) and got us back up and running. Excellent job, good dude, highly recommend.

Tony was patient in answering all my questions! He explained what caused the garbage disposal failure and gave several options for replacement. Preferred Home Services came out to do my annual electrical system inspection and maintenance. My technician, John Chrysostom was excellent! He inspected the breaker box and outlets inside and out. He took pictures of everything and explained his findings. Overall my electrical system is in good shape except for a few minor things and one serious issue. He identified two over protected circuits, a lack of. GFCI on my washing machine outlet, and an outside outlet that was full of water… yikes! He also identified a couple of additional areas where upgrades/improvements could be considered but weren’t urgent. He took the time to explain my options, priced everything out and made the necessary repairs. I was provided with a full explanation with photos of the serious issue outside to send to my HOA. Excellent service! In addition to the exceptional service provided by my technicians, the office communication was excellent. I knew who was coming and when they would arrive to the minute! Always a pleasure doing business with Preferred.

Mr. Clifton came out and met me at the new house and was an absolute beauty. Like a true mountain lion he hopped into the attic and did a full diagnostic of the hvac system! Sage is a Mastef Plumber who identified the problem I needed help with. What I really appreciated was that he was able to explain the problems to me and what he recommended to fix them. His knowledge of the plumbing system, parts & how the repairs could make the system more efficient & last longer convinced me that it was a good inestment. Sage was knowledgeable, wasted no time, and was respectful of my home and my time. The cost was a little more than I expected, but he fixed the problem,wasted no time, and I recommend Sage and Preferred Home Services.

I've been using Preferred Home services for several years and very satisfied with the services they perform. Every technician that has serviced my heat pump systems and tankless water heater has been nothing less than friendly and professional. I'm always notified in advance of their arrival. The technicians explain their findings, provide solutions, make me aware of issues that eventually will occur through normal usage and wearing out of the system components that eventually need replacement along what they found concerning the current condition of a part or system component and potentially how much longer it may remain functional. They document and track all service work records performed so that other technicians are aware of the history of prior service and maintenance work when they come to service my systems. My experiences with Preferred and all their staffing has been great. I'm glad I found Preferred Home Services and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Communicated via text when requested, everyone was within the time range of arriving, communicating, and following up. I was given a fair price for coming out and it rolled into the total bill which was on the lowest end of the estimate I was given. The service member told me there were a couple of steps to clear the issue and he would come get me at each step in the process if the first did not work. This kept me in touch with the budget and what was being done. Greatly appreciate it.
